We are not the official Benson Beds website but we have now purchased three beds from this company and have been very happy.

We first bought our bed and mattress from Benson Beds about 8 months ago now, for the previous 2 years we had been sleeping on a cheap bed frame and mattress. We noticed that we kept waking up in the morning with a sore back, which was strange as both me and my partner lead active lives and like to keep fit. We checked our mattress and found that it was sagging badly in the middle, plus some of the springs were coming through the fabric! Not surprising our sleep quality suffered.

Well they are a UK based company and have a whole chain of stores across the UK with helpful staff waiting to help you choose the right bed for you. While they don’t actually make beds themselves, they sell a range of high quality brands which we will discuss in a moment. They were actually founded in 1950 by a gentleman called Cyril Benson as a general store, but branched out into the bedding market in 1972.
Their head offices are in Warrington, Cheshire and right now they have 180 stores across the country so wherever you are, you will be able to find a store reasonably local to you. We would highly recommend you pop in and see what they have to offer. You’ve also got the backing of Steinhoff International who own the chain, and also own the brands Harveys, Sleepmasters and Cargo.
Shopping At Bensons For Beds
At Bensons Beds you will find the top, well known brands such as Sealy, Slumberland, Reylon, and Miracoil. Now these are not the cheapest beds around, but they are the best quality, and take it from me that it’s well worth paying the extra money to get a decent night’s sleep. Not only will the bed and mattress last longer, but you will have a much better life as a result of all that wonderful, comfortable sleeping.
When we purchased our bed we went to a local store near us and were pleasantly surprised at just how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were. Obviously they wanted us to buy something, but they were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The store was very large and well laid out, plus light and airy and we actually spent over an hour there trying out different beds. Once we had made our decision everything was arranged on the spot, with delivery scheduled for 2 weeks later.
Well our new bed turned up bang on time and the delivery men even assembled it for us and took away our old bed for us! So we were
very pleased and 8 months later we are still enjoying wonderful night’s sleep on our bed from Bensons.
We decided to go for the Sealy Madrid range and also the posturepedic mattress, this is an amazing combination and one that we recommend that you try out as well. Sealy are such high quality and we never, ever wake up with aches and pains any more.

They are also not the cheapest around, but like I said before, it’s worth paying the extra money for a quality bed, mattress and customer service experience.
